This book’s unique mission is to enlighten its reader to the background and significance of the major events of the first half of the year 2022. With political cartoons that are metaphorically chocolate coated to enable the reader to calmly draw their own conclusions to addressing the many challenges to democracy our nation now faces.

Example: In the four swing states of Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Nevada, Republican party primaries have elected candidates for governor and secretary of state who have disputed the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election. And these Republicans could improperly influence the outcome of future elections given our democracy depends on acceptance of election results and orderly transfers of power.
